We’re coming upon the end of the holiday season, and if you’re anything like me, you’re already sick of cooking. That, or you’ve run out of things to cook/are sick of everything in your cookbook. Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, birthdays and dinner parties – in the past three weeks I’ve spent more time in the kitchen than probably the past three months.
If you’ve read my most recent posts, you’re aware that I currently serve as lead blogger/community manager for Lifeway Foods. Over that past few weeks, I’ve been hard at work (with an awesome team) pulling together new and old recipe round ups for the holidays (Christmas and Hanukkah, respectively). The goal was to put together not only dishes that incorporated Lifeway products, but dishes that are delicious, nutritious and versatile.
Whether you’re feeding a hungry crowd of relatives, or cooking for the week, I know you’ll not only enjoy the following recipes, but be nourished by them as well. Click on the links to head over to the Lifeway blog and find the recipes!
This was definitely and office (and fiancé) favorite! It’s super simple to make and easily customizable; throw in whatever veggies you have on hand and add spices to your liking. It’s perfect for feeding a crowd of hungry relatives and is much healthier than a frozen pizza.
This recipe requires a little more prep, but it’s absolutely delicious on a cold winter’s day. Even better, it freezes super well, so you can go ahead and double the batch and freeze half for later!
Nothing says “light dessert” AND “quick breakfast” like a squash-infused quick bread. This pumpkin bread is chock full of antioxidants and healthy fats, while remaining only slightly sweet. Meaning? You can enjoy it anytime!
